Who we are
Lumis is a web design and development studio based in Bengaluru, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we receive:
- Your name, phone or WhatsApp number and email address
- Your business name, if you add it
- Your project type, budget range, and (if selected) Care plan, billing cycle and company stage
- The message you write
What we do not collect
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies, and it does not set cookies of its own. We do not build visitor profiles.
As with any website, the servers that deliver it (see "Who handles your data") may keep short-lived technical logs such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site running securely.
How we use your information
We use what you send us only to:
- Reply to your enquiry and understand what you want to build
- Prepare a recommendation or quote
- Manage the project and any Care plan if you become a client
- Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to run any resulting project, and for the period required by tax and accounting rules if you become a client. If an enquiry does not lead to a project, we delete it within a reasonable period.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw consent for us to contact you at any time. To do so, email us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we limit access to enquiries to the people who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
